These pieces were created at the beginning of the year. With a simple thought to bring zest and prosperity and to welcome the year of the 🔥🐎 with colors, good spirits and abundance!
Petroglyphs are ancient rock carvings—symbolic images or messages created by pecking, incising, or chiseling directly into stone surfaces.
These Chinese characters are from the oracle bone script, Bronze script, Small seal scripture and the Clerical script and are carved then sealed again with colored clay and later on shave off to reveal its characters.
Just like the ancient rock carving that carries the wisdom and intellect of our ancient civilization, the horse holds great meaning—embodying strength, freedom, loyalty, and the spirited vitality that gallops toward prosperity, carrying with it the hopes of abundance and good fortune into the Year of the Fire Horse.
